For centuries, pine trees have been a part of the European landscape. In the woods and forests and inside the magnificent castles, palaces and manor houses. We source the best slow-growing pine trees from responsible forestry in the German forests. To ensure the finest quality, the trees are felled in winter. The trees, which can be up to 200 years old, are among the biggest in Europe, with a diameter of 50 centimetres or more. Therefore, Dinesen Pine is available in extraordinary dimensions and a unique quality. Produced at our production facilities in Denmark, where modern technology and careful craftsmanship go hand in hand.
Towering up to 60 metres tall, Douglas is a tree that stands out. The grand expression is preserved in the planks, where the unique grain bears testimony to nature’s power and beauty. We source our raw wood mainly from the Black Forest, and only the best of the 80-120-year-old trees have what it takes to get through the eye of the needle. It is this careful selection and the extraordinary craftsmanship that place Dinesen Douglas in a class of its own.
Seeing an oak tree in nature is always an impressive experience, and its vitality is outstanding. We take pride in producing oak planks that preserve and respect the personality of the tree. We source our raw wood from large, up to 200-year-old oak trees of the finest quality from forests in Denmark and around Europe. Along with the careful processing, this makes Dinesen Oak unique.
