The successful Copenhagen-based fashion brand Ganni has opened its first store in Los Angeles. In order to stay true to their Scandinavian roots, the store is designed with inspiration from the home of the couple behind the brand, Ditte and Nicolaj Reffstrup. They wanted a space that encourages shoppers to stay a while - just as the couple would encourage their own house guests to do.

Stamuli AB is behind the design of the colourful store and chose to create an interior layout divided into three areas, guiding the customer on a journey through Ganni's collection. The walls in different heights and colours are combined with the characteristic floors, which beautifully transition from pink ceramic tiles to solid wooden planks in Dinesen Douglas.
Another major statement of the store is the rainbow-spotted podiums throughout. All in different sizes, they serve as storage and displays for everything from clothing to shoes. Each panel of the podium is made from recycled plastics—from yogurt packaging to water bottles and even chopping boards. And just like the use of restored furniture and mannequin stands made from plastic chair byproducts, the podiums underline that the store is designed with sustainability in mind.
