Every year, Dinesen invites architecture students to attend a creative summer school together with the Royal Danish Academy - Architecture. The students get to work with Dinesen wood in hope that the natural and numerous qualities of the material will inspire their future work.
In the summer of 2020, 22 architecture students constructed The Fishing Hut over two weeks. The students practised their theory and designed everything from the drawings to the work of construction and installation.
The Fishing Hut is located along a hiking route in Southern Jutland in Denmark, not too far from Dinesen Country Home. A shelter where hikers find rest in the surroundings of Dinesen wood.
