Located directly by the beach in Jutland, Denmark, Seaside Residence embodies a seamless harmony between architecture, materials and nature. The light, vibrant tones of the Ash flooring reflect the coastal landscape, inviting nature into the heart of the home.
The design is based on a clear architectural concept, with an emphasis on the balance and interaction of materials.
Dinesen Ash, with its light, elegant tones and striking grain patterns, was fitting to reflect the villa’s Scandinavian roots and its connection to the surrounding landscape.
The Ash floors create a natural flow that bridges the indoors and outdoors. The villa’s open layout invites the surrounding environment inside, with expansive windows and doors blurring the lines between the living spaces and the coastal landscape.
The villa’s lower level is built from brick, providing a solid, grounded foundation, while the first floor, clad in Nordic slate, contrasts with the brick, adding texture and a changing visual effect with the weather and seasons. This combination gives the building a unique, dynamic expression.
Nature is an integral part of the home. From the main living areas to the private rooms on the upper floor, the wood’s Nordic elegance creates a calming, cohesive atmosphere that enhances the experience of light and space.
