In the small coastal town of Ebeltoft in the northern part of Denmark lies the head office of Kvadrat. Kvadrat was founded in 1968, and today, the company is Europe’s leading manufacturer of design textiles, supplying architects, designers and private consumers across the world with textiles and textile-related products. The head office was built in 1978 by P+P Arkitekter and has since been expanded continuously with the development of the company.
Lately, the head office has undergone a remarkable transformation at the hand of London-based architects SevilPeach, who has created visual connections with the surrounding landscape throughout the complex. The renovation, among others, includes a new welcome area and freshly open plan office spaces, where more than 900 m2 Dinesen HeartOak planks function as a warm contrast to the minimalistic interior and all white walls.
